Satriani is hands down my favorite guitar player of all time. But ever since strange beautiful music, his albums have been going downhill. There are some good tunes on this cd but nothing totally amazing. Joe's playing has gotten better over the years and he is more grooving than ever but the songs and production have taken a backseat. Everything seems half baked these days. The songs have great ideas but they need more time to be worked on and developed. I think maybe he needs to work with a new producer or something.Overall the album is worth listening to and not bad by any means. Andalusia and Musterion are cool.For a Satriani album...this is just decent and won't knock your socks off.
